a. All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips (including live and on-demand radio streams), digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of the SABC, its affiliates, or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

b. The “Channel Africa” name and logo, the “SABC” name and logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of the SABC or its affiliates. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of the SABC.

c. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or publish any audio streams or other content from the Website without the express written consent of the SABC. The live and on-demand radio streams are intended for personal, non-commercial listening only.

5. User-Generated Content

The Website may allow you to submit comments, reviews, or other content (“User Content”).

a. By submitting User Content, you grant the SABC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such User Content in any media.

b. You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights to the User Content you submit and that the User Content is accurate, does not violate these Terms, and will not cause injury to any person or entity.

c. The SABC has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and edit or remove any User Content for any reason, including if it is deemed to be:
i. Defamatory, obscene, offensive, or hateful.
ii. In violation of any law, including POPIA.
iii. Infringing on the intellectual property rights of a third party.
iv. An advertisement or solicitation of business.
v. Technically harmful (e.g., viruses, malware).

6. Privacy
