South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa says he will be working with the Minister of Police to ensure that the Police Service remains stable and is able to continue fulfilling its mandate.

In a statement, the president noted the confirmation by the National ...Prosecuting Authority of a summons for National Police Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola and the arrests of 12 senior police officers. The NPA has not clarified what charges Masemola is facing.
